  • Import breadth.Readwise supports Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, Pocket, Instapaper, articles, tweets, and podcasts. Recall covers Kindle (via extension), PDF, Readwise export, Kobo, and Google Play Books. We're narrower, and catching up slowly.
  • PKM sync.Readwise syncs highlights to Notion, Obsidian, Roam, and Evernote automatically and continuously. Recall lets you export everything (Markdown, JSON, a Readwise-compatible CSV) and import it anywhere, but there's no one-click live sync to those tools yet.
  • Reader.Readwise Reader is a genuinely good read-it-later app for articles and newsletters, with its own annotation and review flow. Recall doesn't have one and isn't building one — we're staying focused on books.
